Used CAT 330 Crawler Excavator for Sale
Product Information
The used CAT 330 is a productive crawler excavator for large construction and earthmoving projects. It combines strong digging force, a stable undercarriage, and a wide working range. Therefore, it is a practical choice for contractors, equipment dealers, rental firms, and fleet owners.
The pictured unit has an enclosed cab, protective window guards, steel tracks, a reach front, and a heavy digging bucket. In addition, hydraulic lines are visible along the boom and stick. This setup may support different hydraulic work tools after the installed circuit is checked.
Longmai Machinery supplies used construction equipment to buyers worldwide. We provide current machine details, operating videos, inspection support, export preparation, and shipping plans.
A Productive 30-Ton Excavator
A common CAT 330 configuration has an operating weight of about 31,400 kg. This size gives the machine a firm working base while keeping it suitable for many road, building, utility, and quarry projects.
The reference setup uses a 6,150 mm reach boom, a 3,200 mm stick, and a 1.76 m³ heavy-duty bucket. As a result, the excavator can move large amounts of soil, sand, gravel, and similar material during each work cycle.
Moreover, different bucket sizes may be selected for trenching, bulk loading, grading, or hard ground.
Cat C7.1 Diesel Engine
The CAT 330 uses a Cat C7.1 diesel engine with a displacement of about 7.01 L. Regional net-power ratings range from approximately 193.8 to 203.7 kW because emissions systems and market settings can differ.
The engine works with selectable power modes. Therefore, the operator can match machine output to the job. Smart operating modes may also adjust engine and hydraulic power according to the digging load.
In addition, automatic engine-speed control can reduce engine speed during light work. This helps limit needless fuel use and noise.
Strong Hydraulic Output
The main hydraulic system provides a listed maximum flow of 560 L/min. Normal implement pressure is approximately 35 MPa, while lift mode can raise the pressure to about 38 MPa.
Consequently, the CAT 330 can deliver smooth and controlled movement to the boom, stick, bucket, swing system, and travel motors. Reference bucket digging force is 179 kN, while stick digging force is about 126 kN.
Auxiliary hydraulic options may support:
- Hydraulic breakers
- Quick couplers
- Grapples
- Rippers
- Compactors
- Pulverizers
- Sorting tools
- Different bucket types
However, tool flow, pressure, valve type, and return-line requirements must be checked before an attachment is fitted.
Wide Digging and Loading Range
With the common reach setup, maximum digging depth is about 7,240 mm. Ground-level reach is approximately 10,680 mm. Therefore, the excavator can cover a broad work area with fewer position changes.
Maximum digging height is about 10,030 mm, while maximum loading height is close to 6,950 mm. As a result, the machine can load common construction trucks and work on deep foundations, drainage trenches, and utility projects.
The actual working range can change with the boom, stick, bucket, and coupler fitted to the selected machine.
Stable Crawler Undercarriage
The long steel undercarriage provides broad ground contact. This helps the excavator remain stable during digging, loading, and lifting within its rated limits.
Available track shoe widths commonly include 600, 700, 800, and 900 mm. Wider shoes can reduce ground pressure, while narrower shoes can make transport planning easier. Therefore, buyers should confirm the shoe width and total transport width before arranging shipment.
The pictured unit has triple-grouser steel tracks. Still, the chains, shoes, rollers, idlers, sprockets, and track tension should be checked during inspection.
Protected Operator Cab
The enclosed cab provides a protected work area and a clear view of the front equipment. The pictured machine also has front and roof guards. These guards can add protection during quarry, demolition, forestry, or other demanding work.
Depending on the unit, cab equipment may include air conditioning, a touchscreen monitor, cameras, work lights, and machine-setting controls. Some regional configurations may also include Cat Grade, Payload, or Assist functions. However, the fitted hardware, software status, and available services must be confirmed for the selected unit.
